"We have an enterprise-grade product that we have built in three months. We have shifted our live customers from the old WordPress pain-in-the-ass platform to Replit. And since then, we are super happy."

Founder, Revent
The Challenge
Revent operates in the pre-owned electronics space, providing rental devices to businesses across the region through monthly subscriptions. While their consumer e-commerce platform served individual buyers well, their B2B vertical needed something more sophisticated—a system that could handle enterprise clients, complex subscriptions, partner storefronts, and custom pricing workflows.
Initially, they built on WordPress to get to market quickly. But the decision quickly became a liability. "Every other day one plugin was not talking to another. Sometimes the plugins would go for updates," Baldeep explains. "You know how the WordPress messy architecture is." The technical debt was piling up, and they knew they needed to move fast.
The team spent two months evaluating platforms, getting close with both Lovable and Replit before making their final decision. Their lead developer came from a traditional WordPress coding background, creating additional friction. "Initially there was a lot of resistance from him because he comes from a core WordPress environment and learning new technologies on the fly wasn't that easy," Baldeep recalls.
Why Replit Won
The choice came down to one key factor: Replit gave them the flexibility to build exactly what they needed without the constraints of traditional no-code platforms or the chaos of WordPress plugins. Even though their developer preferred traditional coding over AI assistance, Replit's environment made sense. "He's more happy with the usual build than using the AI assistant," Baldeep notes. "That gives us more flexibility to build it the way that we want."
They started with initial Replit credits to test the waters. Within weeks, they knew they'd made the right choice.

Building a Complete B2B Platform
What Revent built in three months would typically take a traditional development team significantly longer and cost exponentially more:
Core Platform Features
- Complete admin interface with user management and customer profiles
- Real-time subscription management with Stripe integration
- Serial number tracking and inventory alignment
- Custom quote generation and approval workflows
- Automated quote-to-checkout conversion
B2B2B Partnership System
The platform's standout feature is its ability to create custom storefronts for partner businesses. Revent creates partnerships with companies like Ignite, who then promote rental devices to their own business customers. Each partnership gets a branded page with custom offers, promo codes, and flexible rental terms—all built on the fly within Replit.
"This page gets visible to all the Ignite customers," Baldeep demonstrates. "We create offers for them off the fly. They can just come down, select the devices of their need, add them to cart. All of this is powered by Replit."
The platform even handles the complexity of partner-specific rules—like limiting certain partnerships to 12-month terms only while maintaining different rules for direct customers.
The Results: Peace of Mind and Rapid Growth
The migration happened seamlessly. Live customers were moved from WordPress to Replit with zero disruptions. "Since then, we are super happy," Baldeep says. "One, because it is giving us at least the peace of mind which WordPress was not able to."
The B2B vertical has become Revent's fastest-growing business line among their three verticals (services, consumer, and business). Customer feedback on the new interface has been positive, and the team has established a new rhythm of weekly feature releases—something impossible under their previous architecture.
Perhaps most impressive: when Revent met with Replit CFO, at a recent hackathon, he was "pleasantly surprised and sad at the same time. Surprised because we've built an enterprise-grade product in just three months using Replit. And sad because we just spent around just $50 to build this."
The cost efficiency didn't come from shortcuts. The platform is production-grade, handling real payments, managing live customer subscriptions, and supporting complex B2B2B workflows. It's simply that Replit enabled a small team to build fast without enterprise development costs.
Looking Forward: The Future is Vibe Coding
Revent's journey with Replit started because they were already exploring AI automation across their business—from call center operations to social media content creation. Building their B2B platform was the natural next step.
"We know that we can build on top of this and some very cool features are planned," Baldeep shares. The team has established confidence in their ability to iterate quickly, and they're leaning into vibe coding as their development approach going forward.
For other businesses considering the shift, Baldeep's advice is clear: embrace the change, even when it's uncomfortable. His team kept their developer motivated through the learning curve because they knew "this is the future we have to sooner or later get into."
The numbers speak for themselves: three months, $50, and an enterprise-grade platform that's now powering their fastest-growing business vertical. That's the promise of vibe coding with Replit—delivered.
